In light of the tragic fires recently in Philadelphia and New York our thoughts go out to all the families involved and our fellow Firefighters who gave their all.

Some points worth sharing as this (high rise apartments/condos) applies to some of our residents here in Hillsborough.

Practice exit drills in the home.
Never leave matches or lighters within reach of young children.
Close the door of your bedroom prior to going to sleep.
Make sure you have a UL listed space heater.
As always, make sure your smoke detectors are up to date and are in working order.
